Garden hoses should be placed in the red lidded general waste bin. Garden hoses are not recyclable and should never be placed in your yellow lidded recycling bin. They can become wrapped around the machinery and cause issues at the Materials Recovery Facility.

Household Chemicals are considered hazardous waste and can cause danger if they are placed in any of the domestic (kerbside) bins. Hypodermic needles are considered a hazardous waste and can be extremely dangerous if placed in any domestic bins.
